Job Description
The technician should be able to fabricate, assemble, install, repair sheet metal and composite equipment on Commercial and General Aviation aircraft as well as perform direct maintenance on these aircraft through minor to major repairs and modifications including working on components and/or related parts. He will also be responsible to perform work outlined on applicable work forms in accordance with company policies and procedures, manufacturer's manuals and EASA / FAA requirements.
Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
